Mr. Rakib Ahmed was born in Sirajganj district in 1974.  He completed his Secondary School Certificate from Shahzadpur Pilot High School, Shahzadpur, Sirajganj and Higher Secondary School Certificate from Rajshahi College, Rajshahi. Then he got himself admitted into University of Dhaka. From there he obtained his Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and Master of Science (Biochemistry) degree. Mr Ahmed also obtained MBA (Major in Marketing) from University of Development Alternative.  

Mr. Ahmed is happily married and he has one son. He is directly involved with different social and profession organization. He has visited not only 64 districts of Bangladesh but also different countries of the world i.e:  USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, France, Singapore, UAE, China, Indonesia, Malaysia.
